The case of the fickle sewer or back to the design board

I thought I was on to a good thing when I started my last block until I went for a quick ( that may or may not be a bit of an exaggeration) run this morning and realized that fall is a kaleidoscope of color, so back to the design board!

I cut some new pieces...

and started playing with the colors, I like the positive block but I am not so sure about the negative. I think I need to place another pos next to it and see.

This is in the afternoon natural light.

I know I think I like this much better than the monochromatic one I first started out making. Time to rip this baby and reuse the parts!!!! I wonder if I will change my mind again?

Keep it! No disassemble. Fabrics not that expensive, and it looks good.
Maybe you will never come back to it, but maybe you will...

You could always do quilt blocks of one color but each block is a different fall shade. I do like both versions. Good luck.

Hi! I love those colours - so warm and aoutumn like! But I like very much also your 'monohroma' block - how fun that is a greek word! Like to see it in Greek: μονοχρωμα.
Have a great weekend!
