Who is ready for some linky party weekend action? Say hello to SEWjo Saturday!

I must confess, I am a weekend sewer/blogger.  I started out sewing almost full time, I touched my machine at least six days a week.  I fondled fabric at least seven. Between being taxi mom, cook and laundrette ( I should be fired from the laundrette job, I am failing at that task), managing the Aurifil social media posts for almost two years, and recently adding organizing quilt guild retreat/ show donations ( I am the luckiest girl in the WORLD),  I have less hours to sit down and do hands on sewing.  Not that sewing does not still fill my life, it just happens in a different way for me now.

Sewing is the very first thing I see in every morning. Even before the kids get up, I am at my screen, coffee in hand, wrapped my blue fuzzy bathrobe, ponytail hanging down looking for all the new wonderful sharing on blogs, instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest of beautiful quilts, bags, thread, sewing humor and love that goes on in everyone's homes and studios.  It is both inspiring and frustrating to see all of the creativeness out there.  You are all so FANTABULOUS!  I have been trying to keep up the pace, trying to do it all and have come to the realization that I cannot.  I cannot do it all but I can still do the best I can.  Sometimes I even lose my sewjo.  Sewjo is your sewing mojo.  We all NEED it and when it goes away it sucks!

With my personal epiphiany came another thought, what about a weekend linky party right here on this blog.  I do most of my sewing on the weekend and I am sure there are many others that are in this same boat, that devote time to a job and family during the week and have to work sewing in one the weekend, or you have finished up your project late Friday night and are too late to post on Friday's linky parties.  This party can also be for wip encouragement through the weekend. To get us all through until Monday ;O)

So, here it is... SEWjo Saturday!!!!!  The day of the week where you can share your projects or just come and browse and get that AWESOME inspired feeling that is sometimes lacking on the weekend.

Let's get our SEWjo (sewing mojo) on starting this Saturday!  Here are the sharing rules for the upcoming party...
To participate in the party please...
1. Share a project, it can be a wip ( progress is always a good thing)  or a completed project here.
2. Share a link back to SEWjo Saturday somewhere in your post. I would be over the moon if you grabbed the button and shared that too ;o)
3. Share some love with some of the other posters!!!! Get inspired by other quilty friends work and leave some sunshine in their comments! Let's support each other!

Saturday, March 15, 2014, will be the first party !  And what do you need to celebrate...A GIVEAWAY!  The giveaway will be selected from the posted links on Saturday, I will be posting clues about the giveaway tomorrow!  I promise you do not want to miss this one!

Drowning in work is no fun, I'd like to claw back some simple play time with fabric and thread, just because I can and I want to explore! If I can, I will join you :)

I sew all week long, but I remember the days of just being able to sew friday nights after the kids went to bed and for a bit on Saturday when they were doing something else without me so I am totally in on your Saturday SEWjo. I put the button on my side bar and will be here March 15. Thanks for hosting!
