WIP Wednesday! Full Steam Ahead!

WIP Wednesday is full of excitement for me!

First up to share is the Ugly Sweater Sew Along on Instagram with Kerry from Kid Giddy! If you do not have the pattern, you can purchase it from Kerry's shop here.

My sweater ( that is really not ugly at all) was made using the new Nordic Stitches by Wenche Wolff Hatling for Moda fabrics and the background dots are Bunny Hill Designs for Moda Fabrics.

You will notice that the collar on my sweater is slightly off.  I did not notice that my ironing was off until I was finished.  I decided to keep it that way since it reminds me how my boys always have something a little out of place with their clothing.  Shirt half tucked, unmatching socks, bedhead.  This block makes me think of them and all of their cuteness!

You can find out more about the Ugly Sweater sew along and participate to win fab prizes!  To find out more about this event please visit  Kid Giddy Sew Along.

The #100days100blocks is winding up with the last 20 blocks.  The blocks are using the patterns from Tula Pink's book City Sampler 100 Modern Blocks!  I am still catching up but here are some of the fussy cut blocks that I have been working on...

Finally, I am so over the moon excited to be the Aurifil Designer of the Month for November,  Here is a sneak peek at what will be coming up on 15 November!  I am using the stunning new batik fabrics by Pat Sloan for Moda!!!!  I am really very excited about this block!  You can find all of the free Aurifil Designer Block of the Month patterns by visiting here.

Can't wait to see your Aurifil Block - that has been a fun sew along with great interviews. And I was even a lucky winner of a thread box one month!

your tula blocks are comiing along so well, thinking though I have done them once I might just have to have another go at them. Sweater looks good too and pleased to see you will be sharing a block with us, plan to make all the aurifil blocks when I have downloaded them all
