My go-to Christmas treat is Giant Snickerdoodles. I think my mom found them in a Canadian cooking magazine many years ago! She would make them so big that my Dad couldn't dunk them in his coffee(this was a habit she deplored!). A close second is Nanaimo Bar...YUMM!

I make a spicy Chex type party mix that uses bacon fat, Tabasco sauce and garlic. It is bold and delicious! I have made it every year since the late 1980s.
