The first is that once I was a No Reply Blogger. I never would have known if Amy had not called me and said, "Kim, did you know you are a NRB?"... SAY WHAT!?!?! Then she sent me to this site to correct my status and I am much happier now!
I was reminded of this because the lovely Catie that won the OMGosh I have been blogging a year Giveaway is a No Reply Blogger and I cannot contact her to let her know she won :o( I also cannot say thank you for kind remarks or well anything if you are a no reply blogger.

The second thing I must come clean about:
I have only been taking photos of one side of my kitchen because the other side looks like this and has for about a year and a half. *hanging my head down in shame* I started this project before I had a second surgery on my ankle ( I broke it, had hardware and needed the hardware out) and then it was winter and then I started a blog...you know...life :o)
My poor cabinets have been living in the basement half done since October 2010. But I put the final coats of paint and clear coat on this weekend...WOO HOO!!!!! I will take more shots when they are back up. I am so SERIOUSLY EXCITED!!!!
I am off to do more cleaning and putting up of doors so please forgive me if I am a bit behind with my sewing photos :o( I know I will be sewing up a STORM soon!!!!!

I kept thinking, "that kitchen looks awesome, what is she talking about?" until I actually read the rest! I'm sure we all have those kind of "dirty secrets" around our houses, too. Can't wait to see the finished kitchen!

ReplyDeleteI just found out I was a NRB also. I won something and they were able to get me through my Google+ account. I fixed it, but I am not sure if it worked. If anyone reads this, try me and let me know if I am still one! Anyway, love the kitchen! I just finished remodeling mine.
