My wonderful grandmother when she called to say thank you for her birthday quilt told me that she had an old hatbox filled with some quilt blocks and she was not sure what to do with them or who to give them to and asked if I would want them! WOW!!!! I said yes and on Friday I received the most amazing box in the mail!!!!
I about fell over when I opened the box!

Oh Kim! What a Happy Mother's Day gift you received from your Grandma!!! Just a little envious, but I do have a few precious blocks from my great grand and my grandmother...so I know how exciting it is! ReplyDeleteOoooh, what a fabulous box! Apparently my granny has given my dad some fabric 'to quilt with' to pass on to me the next time I see him. I'm a little worried, given my mum's description of it, about what I can do with it!
