Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day!

I have had a crazy bust weekend so I am doing a last minute Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day post!  I love this day so much!  It is so much fun to go to all the blogs and see all the great offerings! Make sure to go and see all the hundreds of offerings!

Here is my Giveaway...

Ten fat quarters of Dear Stella fabric and two matching large spools of  50wt Aurifil thread!

This combo just makes me so happy on this icy cold dreary day :o)

You wil notice that there are a few little drops on the spools because when I went out is started to drop ice pellets!  The spools were quickly back to the safety of the warm dry house as soon as I realized what was happening.

Thank you everyone for all of your comments!  I am giving you all a BIG HUG for participating and making me smile and feel a bit warmer!

Congratulations Jenny!  I will be sending you an email for your shipping info.  I sure hope your sister is okay!

Amazing fabrics in my favorite colors! To feel warmer, think about those days at the beach, where the sand was SO hot, you could hardly put your bare foot down and you had to step on strangers towels all the way to the water. I just remembered that once, I went to step on someone's towel and it was literally smoldering. The guy had not quite put out his cigarette in the sand! That was in the 70s when people smoked everywhere! Feel warmer?

Hello from the snowy MO Ozarks. I am freezing too. I will tell you a memory. When I was 10 in 1962, I decided to make a quilt. I asked all the neighbor ladies for scrap fabric and with the help of my mom I hand pieced enough 9 patch blocks to make a quilt. My dad built a quilt frame and the whole family got involved. My dad and both older brother helped my mom and me do the quilting. Lots of pricked fingers but we got it done and I still have it today. It is a well loved memory of my first sewing project. Thanks, Kathy
