Katie Jump Rope Giveaway!!!!!

It has been quite a bit since I have had a giveaway so I thought this would be a great time. I have no sewing to share this week since I had my wisdom teeth out last Friday and my sewing mojo is down :o( The time down has inspired to give something since I lost something :o)

Not to mention the fall season is upon us and I love these colors for fall!!!!!!

There is a one-half yard cut of each of the fabrics in the picture. Who would not love 3.5 yards of Katie Jump Rope :o)

The winner will be chosen by random.org.

To enter:

1. Leave a comment on your favorite fall activity or recipe. I am craving real food ( still eating puree) and love to hear about good things to eat.

2. Get a second chance to win these lovely fabrics by leaving a second comment letting me know if you are a follower or if you are a new follower. Thank you if you are already and Welcome if you are new, either way thanks for stopping by :o)

If you are a no reply blogger please leave your email address in your comment, if you do not I cannot contact you to send you your fabric and that would be sad.

The winner will be announced on Monday September 12, 2011

Good Luck!!!!!!

Kim :o)

My favorite fall food is anything from a crockpot. I love coming home to the smell of food cooking. I do love the freshness of summer but fall food is "comfy" food. Yummo!!!

Apple pie, apple cake and apple crisp all are great for the fall. Even have apple candles burning to remind me.

This is the best giveaway I have ever seen in my life! My favorite fall activity is all things pumpkins...going to the pumpkin patch with my kids, doing the hayride a bazillion times, carving the pumpkins, roasting pumpkin seeds, lighting up the jack-o-lanterns, and making desserts with pumpkin in them. My favorite dessert comes from the Better Homes and Gardens Potluck recipe book. If you like pumpkin, I can email you the recipe if you're interested. Thanks again!

I am a new follower! I like your post about the pencil bag. I was in the same boat--up late finishing one up for my daughter's first day of kindergarten:)

Nothing says "fall" to me more than apple cider! When I was a kid, our town had a Halloween parade and afterwards there was free cider and powdered donuts.

Also I am a new follower of your blog.

Would you believe that where I live we don't really have a fall! The weather just goes from summer to a mild winter and most of the trees are evergreen so no falling leaves! But whatever the weather, I don't think you can go past apple pie!

I love walking in the woods when the leaves are falling and it smells fresh and clean.

Microwave Sponge Pudding
4 oz SR Flour (self-raising)
2 oz sugar
2 oz butter
1 egg
milk
combine flour, sugar and butter until well combined. Add egg and stir in well. Then add milk to make a thick runny mixture. (to plopping consistency is my instructions)
To a (pasta bowl size) bowl add jam or golden syrup/treacle to the bottom of the bowl (about 1 cm thick). Add mixture and then cover with paper towel.
Put into microwave for 4 minutes on high. Remove - careful it is hot and then eat.
The best way to end a cool fall(autumn) day.

I just found your blog through HoosierToni. Love it! And thanks for the shot at the giveaway!

My first comment was lost. My favorite fall activity since I was a little girl (& I'm 54) is scuffing through brightly colored fall leaves. If we're out walking in a state park or on a city sidewalk, if I see a drift of leaves I have to run ahead and scuff through them making as much of that crunchy noise as I can. My patient husband just laughs at my inner 6 year old coming out. I'm really excited about the Katie Jump Rope giveaway, I totally missed that fabric while it was available.

Sorry about your sore mouth - hopefully that will subside soon.

I love to go "sloshing" through fallen leaves in the fall! When I was a kid we'd rake up big piles and then jump into them. I just love the changing fall colors. Your fabrics are certainly bright and cheerful.
thanks!

My favorite fall activity? Admiring the changing seasons. Seriously--I am amazed at autumn color. I grew up in a place with very little difference in the seasons, and now that I live somewhere more dramatic, I am a total gawker.
