THANK YOU so much everyone for making this an amazing year for me!!!! It has been an honor and so much fun for me to share my adventures in sewing (and in some cases unsewing) with you. I have learned that online support of sewers and quilters is very open, caring and educational (and that I really need to quit biting my nails!). Ok I do have one suggestion and it's not anything about content but, an addition. I would love it if you would add a place to follow your blog via email subscription. I don't get here often at all although I have been following your blog for a long time now because I read those I follow via email first and don't get much time afterward to follow those which only appear in my reader. That's my only suggestion.

I just found your blog - through Craft Gossip - and look forward to see what you are about. I tried to look around to see what you have already posted but I don't know how to on this type of blog.
I love paper piecing (pp) so I will ask for that. What I really want to do is make a wall quilt for a wild animal rescue group where I volunteer. They will be moving into a specially designed new building in a new location - hopefully this summer. I would like to depict a selection of our rescue population - birds (songbirds, raptors, etc), mammals (raccoons, deer, fox, bats, beavers, etc), reptiles (turtles, frogs, snakes, etc) and, perhaps, some of their habitat - trees, streams, rock ledges, caves.
Sounds like a major undertaking, doesn't it? Sorry, I got carried away.
