Eeeeep! I love this block!

Hands up...who had one of these as a kid? ME, I did!!! Way better than any video game was the View Master viewfinder!!!! I loved mine so much and wanted all of those reels. Pure AWESOMENESS!!! I have been wanting to try a block that looks like the reels for quite some time and finally worked up the nerve!

This is the result!!!!!

Far from perfect and a complete sew as you go project but it is a good start for me and I will be working on a tutorial VERY soon!!!!

So cool, Kim! My kids' favorite thing to play with when we visit my parents' house is our old View Finder. A classic!

I loved my view master. I had slides of the National Parks! I still have it....somewhere. What a wonderful and creative block. I love it, too!

AWESOME! I definitely am looking forward to the tutorial on this one. Love it. This would be such an awesome pillow! I loved these things growing up.

I LOVED my view master, although my cousins had better slides than I did. I agree with Marian, this would be a great pillow!

We had one, and had to wait "patiently" while one of us 8 finished his/her turn! I loved it, too! Fabulous block you made, and a tutorial, really? Sweeeet!

Yup, us kids had one too, I remember bigs bunny in 3D. But what I really wanted to share, when I first saw this, I thought of....a Christmas tree skirt, and in the viewfinder, fabric photo prints on past Christmas mornings.
