My little heart is made using a fussy cut Amy Butler print and was pieced using Aurifil 50wt :o)
I decided to store my blocks and the patterns in a binder to help keep track of where I am when making them. I also do not want to put something *safely* away only never to be able to find it again! This has happened to me more than once ( sad but true). YAY for being able to find what I am looking for when I need it! See all of my piles surrounding my cutting board? I am SURE to lose something there ;o)

Oh, your block is a beauty! I had the same idea for storing my blocks ~ seems like a smart way to keep them from getting lost and thready. Need to get mine done! Did you hand stitch your heart?
Cute block! I have to say, I never, ever put things "safely" away in my workroom. Actually, I never put them away at all. #imaslob
