«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 285 of 285I think my favorite is piecing, but I enjoyed some of the other techniques as well. Thanks for the chance to win!
I love Dresdens!!! They are my fave!!
My favorite block is a pieced friendship star.
Love your blocks, and your photo arrangements. I do prefer pieced blocks, but also enjoy machine applique and sewing Hexies.
I am having such a great time with the Splendid Sampler. I always enjoy seeing your blocks and love the way you set up your photographs!
I am an addict! I love sewing/quilting/hand embroidery/machine embroidery/fabric/thread/sewing machines/tools...the list goes on. I can't think of anything I don't like associated with fabric...now that's saying A LOT. :)
I love piecing first, followed by applique!
Thanks for the giveaway. My fave technique is raw-edge applique. Although, I've done a lot of pieced blocks this past year. And luv seeing hand embroidery in designs. Hexies, EPP, and paper-piecing are not yet favorites, of mine. And we'll see how much I need to alter some of those blocks.
I've liked doing all the blocks and my favorite ones are the appliqued ones!
I'm just more of a piece maker....although I do like embroidery too. I don't do much that is complicated. I really like the Splendid Sampler and look forward to working on it for quite awhile, as I only have a few blocks done so far.
I like piecing, paper piecing and embroidery. Have enjoyed seeing all these blocks come together.
I love seeing all the different colour ways people are using to make this project. Exciting that we are at block 50. I have made about 14 and downloaded the rest of them. Not a fan of the appliqué or embroidery blocks, I prefer the piecing ones. I shall make them all when time allows. I enjoy the extra blocks and projects
I am really enjoying working on the blocks in SS and am learning so much that never would have been available to me in any other form. Thank you all.
I love to do embroidery work so those blocks alone with with the paper piecing blocks are my favorite.
My favourite blocks have fussy cut centres with coordinating surrounds.
This has been a great experience. I am learning new techniques like paper piecing, still a way to go with that. Thanks to the designers for all the lovely blocks.
You are a funny girl! I have left Hi from Go-Go Kim messages all over the place!! Thanks for the giveaway!
I still like the 9 patch block.

I love any simple pieced block.

Love trying & doing a variety of techniques. First though is paper piecing. Thanks for the opportunity of winning some quilty prizes.
I love your blocks. I have really enjoyed the hand embroidery blocks - it's been a long time since I did much embroidery.
I am so enjoying all the blocks. Thank you for being a designer, so generous.
I love a pieced block but also love the applique not so much the PP blocks
I prefer pieced blocks, specifically, traditional pieced blocks. (My birthday is Aug. 12. What a great birthday gift this would be!)
Pieced blocks are my favorite
I enjoy paper piecing and I am loving all the new things I am learning with the embroidery blocks
I love all the paper pieced blocks and embroidery. I am learning how to cut some really small pieces.
I love piecing, patchwork, scrappy, and applique. I haven't done embroidery since I was a teenager, wow! 40 years ago! I've never tried paper piecing but I will be learning that too! There are so many intricate paper piecing patterns (lol, say that one 3 times fast) I love.

I commented earlier but I don't see it on here. I love pieced, patchwork, scrappy, and applique. I haven't done embroidery since I was a teenager, wow! That's been 40 years ago! I like regular piecing the best, done with pieces cut with a ruler and measurements, not templates or paper piecing.
I think I am fondest of the applique blocks :-)
Mostly I like applique blocks.
13 blocks completed so far - slow but sure :)
I love paper piecing.
I need to get the "umph" going on the paper pieced blocks! Most of the pieced blocks are up to date, but the applique are all in their own "maybe" pile!
My favorite technique is piecing, but my favorite splendid sampler block is EPP - Inchy Hexagon Club.
It depends on my mood. I don't have a particular favorite. Actually, maybe a block that combines multiple techniques.
I am enjoying the variety of techniques and patterns. I love working out which fabrics to use, even though it takes me so long to make up my mind.
I LOVE the piecing blocks, and paper piecing is a close second. But I'm intimidated by the teeny tiny EPP hexis!
I prefer simple pieced blocks. I really like making "crazy pieced" blocks with no plan, just some scraps and time to play.
Piecing had always been my favorite but I have become to love all the styles we have been introduced to. Would have, could have never done it on my own. Thank you so much! Love your work!
Oooh, tough question! Some days I'm in a piecing mood, some days I like paper piecing or I might want to sit and do handwork like applique and embroidery. I guess I love them all! In addition to the Splendid Sampler, right now I have a beautiful applique quilt in process (Simply Delicious by Piece o' Cake), a paper-pieced quilt that I designed myself, and a pieced Storm at Sea. I just rotate among them depending on my mood! Thanks for hosting this giveaway and for posing such a good question!
Love your posts IG. I'm really enjoying SS and look forward to each Thursday and Sunday.
Cute blog. Thanks.
Thank you for the giveaway! I have really enjoyed learning the new techniques! Paper piecing is now my fave!
I like embroidery. It is something you can take with you and work on almost anywhere!
I enjoy paper piecing and embroidery.
Pieced blocks are my favorite since I am most comfortable making them, but I love embroidery too.
Thank you so much for the giveaway but more than that, thank you for you time and effort you have contributed to the splendid sampler. You are so sweet and thoughtful and we are grateful! I have followed your work for a while and will continue to do so. Thanks again!!
Wow! You have such a wonderful choice of colors. So glad I found you.
Quilty Hugs back!
I have never participated in this type of sew along on line and can't believe the huge number of different techniques I've never tried. So inspiring.

I love the opportunity to learn many new techniques!
Thank you!
My favorite is paper piecing, but I am supper excited to try embroidery. I need to buy thread first, but I am saving the blocks to try it!
I am enjoying learning new techniques and revisiting some old ones. It is truly a splendid journey. nikki_moshier at hotmail.com
I love piecing. I am thinking about trying some EPP when the colder months arrive and give me more time inside.

very hard to have a favourite... I love combination blocks - for example a bit of embroidery and piecing...
Hugz
lovely giveaway, than k you for being so generous.
Marian - sherwood_forest_maiden@yahoo.com
The most accurate is paper piecing, love it when the block has nice points!
I really like pieced blocks, but I'm interested to try more appliqué
So far I have learned so much on different types of doing blocks and I think now I am comfortable with paper piecing and I love doing it. It is so clean looking.
The only one I didn't like is the little hexies. Probably because just too small. Love all the rest.
I am always an applique fan. Love the pieced blocks too but never have enjoyed piecing that much.
I love your block and appreciate all the designers for the Splendid Sampler. Thank you.
My favorite block to make is the log cabin. thanks for the chance at winning a delightful prize.
I do some hand and machine applique` but I like piecing the best.
I am totally enjoying the ride. I only have 26 blocks done, so I am a ways behind. Learning new techniques and adventuring from my comfort zone. Thanks for the draw. raydeer@memlane.com
I love paper piecing! Thank you for the great give-away!
I'm a paper piecer at heart, but willing to try lots of other types of quilting.
Thanks for the giveaway...
I like piecing and embroidering a block. Thank you for the opportunity to enter your drawing.
Love EPP and most hand-sewing!!
I am enjoying learning some new and different techniques.
I love piecing and applique.. But, my absolute favorite is anything mini! Currently making 1/2" EPP hexies! Since I love mini and Aurifil...I'd love to win your giveaway! Thanks!
My favorite is pieced blocks. although I will give the others a try.
i love this quilt along, thank you so much for sharing.
Laurie Aswegan
Thanks so much for participating in the SS!! I have so enjoyed following along and collecting the blocks. I've yet to start because of other obligations, but I do have my fabrics and will start soon!
I'm loving The Splendid Sampler! I am a beginner and had never done any paper piecing before this and I think i really like it! I just need more practice with it. My favorite so far and the pieced blocks.
