Introducing the Go-Go Bowl!

Vintage card bowls are so lovely!

Bring back the style of these bowls to your sewing room using your fabric stash to create a one of a kind look!   This bowl pattern includes templates for all three sizes, large, medium and small. Made with scrap fabric, Mod Podge and card stock they are sturdy and strong. These would make great gifts for any occasion and are sturdy enough to hold any sewing notions or other items without buckling or bending. The small and medium sized bowls are charm pack friendly too!

This updated version of a classic is scrap busting at its finest!   They are designed for every level of sewing and would make a fun group project!

I came up with the idea for making these last winter when my family and I  were snowed in and needed something to pass the time.  It was too cold to be in the sewing studio and needed a project!   After some interesting drawings and some tech support from the in house engineer, the templates for these beauties were created!

Katy and I really enjoyed making these bowls!  They are so easy to do that they would also be an excellent projects for older kids and teens!

For the bowls shown, I used Moda fabrics! and Aurifil embroidery floss.  I really loved fussy cutting the Kate Spain for the birds and pears!

One of the best features is that the bowls are nesting bowls.  If you are not using them the can be stacked and stored neatly!  Not sure that will ever happened in my sewing room as I always need more places to put stuff!

As you can see you can mix and match fabrics from different fabric lines and they still look fabulous together!

The pdf pattern and templates are available for purchase in my Esty shop,  Go-Go Kim Sews, or on Craftsy.

After you make these adorable bowls, I would LOVE to see them!  Please share photos and tag me or use #gogokim!!!!
