This week for Sunday Stash is almost a zillion colors of Kona Cotton from Robert Kaufman!
I bought these from Karie when she had a destash on Instagram. If you do not follow her feed on Instagram...do! She is one of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure to meet in real life and she is LEGIT, talented and FUNNY!
After playing around with some of the smaller pieces, my eye caught this stack of beauties! JUST SO PRETTY!
I was going to pull out a variety of Aurifil threads to match but stopped...
and only chose one!
This is the ONE, the ONLY, the MOST used color in my sewing room! If I had to choose only ONE for the rest of my creative life...
It is Aurifil 2600! I finished off my cone last year and now have this one large spool left. It will last quite a long time so I am not worried about running out anytime soon.
The grey will blend into just about every color. I will not use it on pure white or blackest black. Otherwise, I have never had an issue.
Oh, me, too! This is my favorite. I've used countless spools of it over the years. Last year I used an entire cone of it. I just started a new cone on New Years Day! HOw's that for serendipity?
