Whimsy Garden Sew Along Row Three

Who does not love a fun sew along with friends?

Earlier in the year (pre-pandemic), my friend, Amy Friend from During Quiet Time asked if I would be interested in participating in her upcoming Sew Along for her newest book Petal + Stem. Of course I said YES because of OMG! SO! MUCH!PRETTY!!!!!!

The quilt that was chosen was Whimsy Garden. It is a row quilt with four sections. I stitched up section 3!

Here is a photo of the full finished Whimsy Garden Quilt by Amy Friend. It is really lovely and would be a perfect addition to any home or a fantastic quilt for a little's room.

The paper pieced patterns include a variety of different leaves, blooms, adorable critters, and quilts themselves. There are no rules to this book other than to have tons of fun!

Amy has tips and tricks on her website to help you confidently grow your garden without pulling weeds (seam ripping 😂). She encourages you to make the quilt completely personalized with your favorite colors, stem, and foliage. The possibilities are almost endless.

There are other projects in the book for you to sew if you don't have the time right now to sew a whole quilt. My favorite is the Farmer's Market Tote.

Sunflowers are my number ONE favorite flower with a close second being poppies.

I will be making it as a cushion cover instead of a tote to add to my Summer sofa 🌻🌻🌻

Each week has also had something everyone loves...GIVEAWAYS!  You can follow along with the giveaway action by visiting During Quiet Time.

So grab the Petal + Stem Book, your favorite fabrics, and a REALLY good Netflix show (I chose Jane the Virgin) and you will have a carefree garden in no time!!!!

The author is pleased with their recent completion of Row Three of the Whimsy Garden Sew Along, which showcases a variety of techniques such as applique, embroidery, and piecing. The appliqué flowers and embroidered butterflies add dimension and whimsy to the quilt. The piecing is well done, with accurate cuts and precise sewing. The cohesive design of fabrics and patterns is impressive. The author appreciates the clear instructions, accurate templates, well-designed row, and the challenge but not too difficult nature of the quilt. They are eager to see the final result.motorcycle accident attorney

The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones has been met with mixed reactions from fans and critics. While some praised the epic scope and production values, others expressed disappointment in the narrative choices, pacing, and character arcs. The show maintained high production quality, with visually stunning battles and strong acting performances. However, critics felt the final season was rushed, with important plotlines and character developments resolved too quickly, leading to dissatisfaction. The character arcs were also criticized, with some arguing that certain characters' arcs were abrupt and unearned. The Iron Throne resolution was also criticized for being too neat and not delivering the emotional payoff expected after eight seasons. leesburg traffic lawyer
