«Oldest ‹Older 1001 – 1043 of 1043This summer, my daughter is taking a break from dance (because I don't want to deal with three young boys while she's in class), so I'm hoping to get my son into soccer or T-ball. And we're doing swim lessons for a couple of the kids. Other than that, we're pretty boring in the summer.

This summer is all about family! My side is coming to visit at various times throughout the summer. Then we're having our 2nd annual family reunion on my husband's side. He is 1 of 6, so with everyone we will have 21 (just the immediate family) ranging from 6mos. - 70!

Hoping to hibernate in the a/c and get some fun sewing accomplihed- with it being hot and humid - will help keep you inside to accomplish some of those projects that are waiting.. making small wall quilts are something I am going to try also.

We are spending the summer at our little cabin on a pond, so lots of swimming, plus building a tree fort in the woods.
I plan on crafting! But a fun activity I did when I was little was that my mom made treasure hunts and hid notes with jolly ranchers to get to the next one. Little puzzles that increased in difficulty and length as we got older with some cool prize at the end:)
3 weddings, a trip to see our son out of state, and the making of Christmas pillows and Christmas charm square quilts. Thanks for the chance to win!
My husband and I are going to see how well we camp together this summer :) We both like quiet and woodsy areas so are excited to get out there.

I plan to do a lot of work, around the house and on quilting projects. We only have one little trip in the planning stage, but I hope we can do two.
We plan to take several day trips around our home state.
We will be enjoying the outside in our hometown - no big trips planned.
