We don't have summer coming up- winter is on it's way here in New Zealand. A holiday in a sunny country would be wonderful, but I doubt that will happen this year. Staying at home spending time with the family is on the agenda.
Playing with the dog and caring for my patio plants! And hopefully making something lovely with this gift!

This summer I am planning on trying lots of new things with my kids. So going to places we've never been, eating foods we've never tried, trying some new crafts. I think it's easy to keep doing the same old things and I want to show them that trying things out is fun, plus you might find something new you love. x

It is about to be winter here in Australia so no summer plans as such for me but in summer we like to bush walk in the forest on hot days as it is usually about 10 degrees Celcius cooler on the forest floor.
This summer I will travel with my youngest son to Boston, MA to celebrate my 60th birthday with my other two kids who live there. My middle child is a Harvard professor, so we travel to him during the school year ;-)
This summer we will visit family far away and have lots of cookouts in the yard. Not too exciting, but it makes us happy.
I am from Greece and during the summer I am planning to go to our summer house in the isle of Eubia.

I love driving to the lake. For me, it's 5 minutes. I grab a chair and pack a lunch. I also have a canoe I can take. I love day trips, so I'll probably do a few. Explore some local state parks, lakes, or zoos. Nature is always good for kids. Have fun!
No fun ideas with kids sorry, don't have any yet! My summer plans mainly involve working (bla) but hopefully I'll think of something more exciting soon!
I plan to spend a lot of time at the pool with my kids and train for a triathlon. Thanks for the chance to win!
No ideas for kids I'm afraid, although this summer I'll be meeting my little cousins in Australia (technically, my summer will be winter this year)
Summer.. time for Christmas projects!!!
Hello! I'm thinking we might rent a cottage for a week or head to PEI for a few days. Depending on the weather we may just stay home and have a staycation.
My kids are a bit older now, but we used to love going on nature hikes!!
I love visiting State Parks with my daughter in the summer. :)
I'm heading on an Alaskan cruise!
No plans really. Stay in the AC and finish up some projects or lounge by the pool. Basically try to keep cool!
The summer temperatures are so hot here, that I plan to sew quilt tops all summer (in a/c) to quilt in winter. Taking several short trips to visit family through out the summer. Quilting and family, two of my favorite subjects! Thanks for the great give away. I simply love good fabrics.

This summer we are planning a road trip from Winnipeg, to Lethbridge Alberta (where I grew up) with two kids in the back seat. All in the name of going to my high school reunion. Which is actually kinda crazy considering that I didn't particularly enjoy high school in the first place....
Nothing to special just habing out at home and maybe some camping trips out at the lake and in our backyard with the kiddos.

Probably the most fun kid thing we are doing this summer is gardening! My preschooler and I are growing all sorts of fun things, mostly out in a raised garden bed, but we are also growing carrots and radishes in a big clear container that used to be full of animal crackers. My husband drilled holes in the bottom for drainage, and I am going to put the sprouted radish and carrot seeds along the side so hopefully we will be able to see them growing under the dirt!
Hugs! I follow on Bloglovin

I plan to sew, sew and sew. No kids anymore but teaching them to sew and doing crafts will be great.
I will be quilting and spending time visiting friends and family.
When my children were young, they wanted to sell lemonade & soda to the golfers across the street from our home so we bought a large orange
Jug made up the concoctions and sell away they did. With my daughter, I would have a few girls from the neighborhood and we would do craft projects. We also would go bowling as a family and bike riding. Of course there is always summer camps, track camps, science camps. Plus we did free things such as hiking, backyard swims, etc. just get creative.
Glad to have a chance to stop by your blog during this blog hop. I follow on BL. I am a new follower.

We have completed a ton of make up bags and rag quilts and are ready to attempt a "real" quilt soon. This fabric would be a perfect start! I've heard very good things about aurifil thread also. This summer we will be at the softball park alot because she plays ball but I intend to get some sewing and quilting done with her also! Best mother daughter time ever! Thanks for the chance to win!
